Crowns and bridges are fixed prosthetic restorations (cemented in the\nmouth and cannot be removed), while dentures are mobile.<\/p><p>Dental crowns replace the crown part of the tooth, fully imitating the color, shape and size\nof a natural tooth. A dental bridge is a prosthetic restoration that consists of two or more\ncrowns, it is used to bridge the edentulous area, and for their production, the existence of\ncarrier teeth in front and behind the edentulous area is necessary.<\/p><p>Dental prostheses are mobile prosthetic replacements, which are made in case of\ntoothlessness and complete toothlessness. Depending on whether a few teeth or all teeth\nare being replaced, dentures can be partial or total. Depending on the material from which\nthe prostheses are made, they can be acrylate, valplast or skeletonized prostheses.<\/p><p>Until recently, crowns and bridges were exclusively made of metal ceramics, i.e. metal\ncrown that is coated with a layer of ceramics. Metal gives strength, and ceramics gives\naesthetics.
