Dental prosthetics

Dental prosthetics provide you with compensation for damage to the tooth crown and extracted teeth. Crowns and bridges are fixed prosthetic restorations (cemented in the mouth and cannot be removed), while dentures are mobile.

Dental crowns replace the crown part of the tooth, fully imitating the color, shape and size of a natural tooth. A dental bridge is a prosthetic restoration that consists of two or more crowns, it is used to bridge the edentulous area, and for their production, the existence of carrier teeth in front and behind the edentulous area is necessary.

Dental prostheses are mobile prosthetic replacements, which are made in case of toothlessness and complete toothlessness. Depending on whether a few teeth or all teeth are being replaced, dentures can be partial or total. Depending on the material from which the prostheses are made, they can be acrylate, valplast or skeletonized prostheses.

Until recently, crowns and bridges were exclusively made of metal ceramics, i.e. metal crown that is coated with a layer of ceramics. Metal gives strength, and ceramics gives aesthetics. Today, metal-free crowns and bridges are made, with which much better aesthetic solutions are achieved, and the teeth look more natural.
